This story is about Okto-Punas, Tap-Pusit, and Pagi-Ton -- the guardians of cleanliness and the well-being of sea creatures in the waters of Isla Manlanat.
They lived peacefully until one day, the sea suddenly darkened, and many
colorful objects were seen floating in the waters of Isla Manlanat.
The fish and other sea creatures ate these objects, which led to their deaths.
Because of this, Okto-Punas and his friends investigated and discovered
that these objects were actually plastic wastes being dumped by a massive
ship.
Determined to stop the destruction, Okto-Punas and the other sea creatures
united to fight against the ship and prevent it from polluting the ocean any
further.
